Brett Petrusek

Over the past 20 years, I have built my skills as a computer engineer doing everything from designing high performance computing clusters to programming gene sequencing machines to developing software to deploying and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure. As a businessman, I have launched three technology companies, been a co-founder of a biotech startup, and been a co-founder of a blockchain event ticketing company. For the last several years, I have been consulting with large enterprises to drive digital transformation strategies across their organizations. I am passionate about technology, but even more passionate about sharing my experiences to help others realize their own dreams and aspirations.

I started Land A DevOps Job as an experiment to help other DevOps engineers to increase their value and to create resounding impact within the organizations they serviced. This is also an experiment to improve my own mentoring skills by listening to as many of my peers as possible. I try to practice my own personal iterative improvement, and Land A DevOps Job is an opportunity for me to articulate what I think through writing, interacting, and teaching.
